Player Radar Explained

Many clubs and agencies use our player data profiles as a first screening tool in the decision-making process. Our profiles enable a quick, qualitative and data-driven assessment of players. They provide a compact overview of performance, strengths, weaknesses and development potential at a glance. This makes them ideal for initial player screening, supporting better decisions and defining targeted development measures.

  • The radars are based on statistical player data from Wyscout. All values are per 90 minutes.

  • Players are compared only with others in the same position and league

  • The position reference is based on the player’s Wyscout main position, defined by the position in which they played the most minutes.

  • The sample size in the footer shows the number of players included in the comparison group.

  • Only players with at least 700 Min. played are included to provide a robust and reliable comparison.

  • All rankings are shown as percentiles. A percentile of 100 means the player ranks first in that metric, while 50 represents the league average.

  • Metrics are grouped into five key categories:
🟣 Defensive Contribution – defensive actions, duels and ball-winning ability
πŸ”΄ Progression & Dribbling – ball carrying, dribbling and advancing play
🟒 Goal Threat – scoring output, shooting and penalty-box presence
🟠 Creative Output – chance creation, assists and expected assists
πŸ”΅ Passing Accuracy– passing accuracy, progression through passing and distribution

  • Fouls and cards are negatively coded, meaning a higher percentile indicates that a player commits fewer fouls or receives fewer cards than their peers.

  • All quantitative metrics are presented on a per-90-minute basis and are not adjusted for team or player ball possession.
